She has been a member of the Progeny Committee since 2007 acting as their chairman. Päivi Salomäki is a basenji breeder together with Helena Myyryläinen under the kennel name Furahan. Päivi has four basenjis at home: the first black and white basenji used in breeding in Finland: male FIN S EST CH Jangua B'Toki (born 1995) , an Australian import bitch INT FIN S EST CH, W-99, BaltW-00, EuW-06 Pukkanut Dawn Chorus (born 1998), and she is a co-owner of Avongara Mwana of Brushy Run (born 2004) with Marjukka Anttila (Kennel Ajibu) and Päivi Somppi (Kennel Heriaheri) and last addition is black and white bitch from the litter of winter 2008 Furahan Zuri Nova. She also has a Bracco Italiano bitch Heinäaron Luce Di Natale. She has also been a member of the Activity Committee since 2007 and this year she is also acting as their chairman. Kirsi is a member of the Running Committee, too; she also works on the year book keeping book on the lure coursing results. In the Board of Directors she has been since 2008 as the secretary. Kirsi owns two basenjis, male Lennu, FIN CH Orange Pips Angeleyes (born 2005) and male Moko, Furahan Tiika M'Toto (born 2007) co-owned with Päivi Salomäki. She also has a beagle, born in 2006. She has been a member in the Board of Directors, working as the club secretary 1993-2001 and also as the secretary of the breeding committee 1993-1994. Anneli has also been the responsible show ring trainer in Helsinki area for many years. Anneli Pukkila has been awarded club's silver medal for merit at the 20th anniversary of The Finnish Basenji Club, and the golden medal for merit at the club's 30th anniversary. She also is a qualified show ring steward. Anneli Pukkila has bred basenjis since 1986 under the kennel name Sternhimmels. She has been awarded Vuolasvirta -prize in 1996, and among other merits she has won the title 'Finnish Kennel Club Breeder Of The Year' in 2003. There are already 40 International Champions under the name Sternhimmels, the number of Finnish Champions is 93 at the moment. At her home she has two tricolor bitches INT FIN S N NORD CH, FIN RC CH Sternhimmels Bene Benedicta (born 2001) and its daughter FI CH Sternhimmels In Dulci Iubilo (born 2006). Ari has two basenjis at home Wäinö C.I.B. FI DK EE CH Bulldobas Grand Slam (born 2006) and co-owned with Tiina Taavitsainen: Finny FI MVA EEJV-09 Ankhu Baroos At Bulldobas (born 2007). She is also a member of Running Committee and Arranging Committee. She works as the treasurer of the club, plus she is an active member of the Internet Committee, Running Committee and Show Ring Committee. She is also the chief editor of Finnish Basenjis' Year book. There are three basenjis living with Erja: Eddie, Ajibu Datz Me (born 2005) and a dog imported by Marjukka Anttila, George, Sonbar's Tom Terrific for Ajibu (born 2007) and co-owned with Marjukka Anttila Winston Ajibu Great Balls of Fire (born 2009). |
