The Lure Courser of the Year
Rules for the competition of the Lure Courser
- The best lure courser of the year will be chosen based on the results of the year 2008.
- Dogs and bitches compete for the same prize.
- Only basenjis owned by Finnish citizens can participate in this competition.
- The owners of the dogs attending need to be members of the Finnish Basenjis ry.
- Only five best results gained in official Finnish competitions can be included.
- The points will be counted as follows: a win (3 points), qualifying round and/or finals (3 points for each result
over 200 points). Each dog can also gain additional points depending on the number of basenjis attending the same competition:
1 point for every competitor (1 point for only one competitor, 2 points for 2 competitiors, 3 points for three competitors etc.)
- Owners who wish to enter their dogs in this competition should send the points of their dogs to the chairman of
the racing committee (in year 2008 the chairperson is Ms. Lotta Krohn, email: lotta.krohn (at) gmail.com)
